The room was very nice - it is an older building but the room was spacious and I really liked the bathroom; there is a bath - plenty of hot water at all times. The beds were fine - there was a single and a double which was really nice to have. TV is in the room Breakfast was excellent; cereals, toast, cooked breakfast - all very nice or you could have continental as well Evening meals were fine; we ate in the very lovely restaurant for four nights and the meals were very nice. The staff are outstanding - friendly, helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The housekeeping staff are very good - we had to stay an extra two nights as I was ill and they gave me some clean supplies of towels, etc. For me particularly I love all the surrounding lakes and wildlife and went for some walks. The geese visited every morning and I enjoyed having some time with them; how lovely to be surrounded by these birds. They enjoyed a bit of food and we had a chat. I really like going there to also see the geese and enjoy seeing the swans on the lake plus the ducks.

I chose this Hotel because of the positive reviews and I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. I didn't drive but yet it was easy to get to from Greehithe Train Station. We also chose this Hotel because we simply needed somewhere without the bells and whistles. It was clean, it had tea making facilities, TV, shower and bath and wardrobe. I exceeded my expectations. The young man who took our food order was great. He was friendly yet professional and lovely with my daughter. The reason for not giving ten is because the food on arrival was not the best. The chips were lovely but the chicken wings were just deep fried with little flavour. However, the breakfast was really good but don't expect premium ingredients. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

The staff really made the stay to be honest! From Christopher serving breakfast to Tamera.. We had met Tamera at the bar the day before, And she served us, She didn't know how to do what we wanted but said we could talk her through it, So when I had an issue on the Friday night(2 switches in our room didn't work) and the night porters couldn't sort it I know she would so I asked to leave work for tamera for the morning, We walked through reception, She had an extension lead waiting for us, And even asked how our family dinner went the night before! She really made the stay pleasurable, How she engaged with us made us feel valued, we felt she went above and beyond 😊 Such a lovely young lady! Thank you Again Tamera 😊

It was a lovely, quiet room at the end of the corridor on the ground floor. The children were fast asleep as soon as they climbed into bed and wanted to stay another night. The staff didn't mind the children being children at breakfast in the restaurant and were very accommodating. One of the children has additional needs, which the staff did not mind. I was even given a compliment that my children were well mannered, well-behaved, and beautiful. My child with additional needs loved this and even said thank you.

We had a very pleasant room. Very warm with the heater on which we could adjust. Loved the bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Lovely grounds with a lake nearby and daily visits by lots of geese who come along for a daily walk which we really liked. Overall we had everything we needed and more. Haven’t been in the restaurant. Looks very nice. Yes it is an older hotel but enjoyed staying there and our facilities were very nice indeed. The staff are outstanding and extremely pleasant and helpful.
